Boys need blocks too!

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

It’s not easy parting with these blocks once they’re done. They’re just so cuddly soft, and the kiddy pictures I’ve been given to “develop” on fabric for them are so adorable you just want to stare and stare!

This block was for little Aidan, pictured here with his big sis in an adorable side-by-side pose. The fabrics and loop are in coordinating baby blues, perfect for little boys…and little girls who want to break out of the mold. =]

Thanks again Jojo!

Aww…two new cuddly cute baby blocks

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

I’m really excited to have been able to make not one - but two! - new Plush Baby Blocks, thanks to Jojo who ordered up a couple for her friends’ little darlings.

This first block was for Nola, who’s just adorable in every way (not to mention that her outfit worked out perfectly with the pinks in the bubble fabric and corduroy!) The blocks have a new feature that I’m really excited about too, and I have to thank Jojo again for the idea! Inside the block are three silver bells of various sizes, and they make the most pleasing little jingle bell sound when you shake the block around.

Happy Snail Trails!

Monday, August 20th, 2007
The countless number of snails - and their silvery telltale trails - parading past Jimmy’s doorstep were my inspiration for this bag.Happy Snail Trails, with its quilted corduroy exterior, is so soft you might want to take it to bed with you. But its sturdy construction, roomy interior, and multiple pockets will make it hard to resist adding to your bag rotation.

Carry it just under your ‘pit with the strap adjusted short, or lengthen it to carry as a hip-length shoulder bag…or somewhere in between.
